Fixing Blocked Request Errors During Spexo Prebuilt Import
Importing a prebuilt website to your site sends a connection request to our server to transfer the necessary data. However, this process may fail if something is blocking your website’s requests to our server. If that happens, you may encounter the following error message:
WP_Error – User has blocked requests through HTTP.
The connection request process follows this sequence:

When your host blocks the connection to our API server, this error occurs.
Possible Causes and Solutions #
- Conflicting Plugins: Some plugins installed on your website might be causing this issue. Try deactivating all plugins temporarily and then attempt the import again. In most cases (95% of the time), this resolves the problem.
- Firewall Restrictions: Your hosting provider may have a firewall or security module that blocks outgoing requests. Contact your host and ask if their security settings are preventing connections to external servers, and request them to allow it.

Subject: Assistance Needed – Server Connection Issue
Hello,
I’m trying to import a prebuilt website using the Spexo Addons plugin (https://wordpress.org/plugins/sastra-essential-addons-for-elementor/), but it seems my host server is unable to establish a connection. This connection is essential for the import process.
Could you please check if there’s a firewall or any security modules on the server that might be blocking the connection? If so, is it possible to unblock it?
I’d appreciate your assistance in resolving this issue. Looking forward to your response.
Thank you!
Best regards,
