You can manage all AI Alt Text options from one simple place.
- Open your WordPress Dashboard
- Go to Spexo Addons → Settings → AI Settings → Tools & Workflow
- Enable the AI Alt Text Button

1. Manual AI Alt Text Generation #
This feature is available in both Free and Pro.
You decide when and where alt text should be generated.
Once enabled, a button appears inside the Media Library:
“Generate with Spexo AI”

The Automatic Alt Text Generation feature is available only in Spexo Addons PRO. Please install and activate the PRO plugin to access this feature.
This feature automatically generates alt text for every new image you upload.
It is ideal for websites that upload images regularly.

How to Enable Auto Alt Text #

Automatic alt text works only for newly uploaded images.
For existing images, use manual generation.
3. Alt Text Generation Interval #
The Alt Text Generation Interval setting is available only in Spexo Addons PRO. Please install and activate the PRO plugin to access this feature.
This setting controls how fast AI processes images in the background.
- Default: 60 seconds
- Allowed range: 10 to 3600 seconds
Why This Setting Matters #
- Prevents API limit issues
- Keeps your site stable

Recommended Values #
- 60–120 seconds: Best for most websites
- 10–30 seconds: Only for high API limits
- 300+ seconds: Very safe and slow

4. Image Detail Level #
The Image Detail Level setting is available only in Spexo Addons PRO. Please install and activate the PRO plugin to access this feature.
This option decides how detailed the AI description should be.
