Why Use a Child Theme? #
- Safe Customizations: When you use a child theme, any changes you make to the design, layout, or functionality won’t be overwritten when the parent theme (Spexo) gets updated.
- Preserve Updates: WordPress automatically updates parent themes, but with a child theme, your customizations remain unaffected.
- Easy Rollback: If you encounter issues with your customizations, you can easily revert to the parent theme without losing your changes.
