This feature helps you monitor how many tokens are used for AI actions like text generation, translations, image alt-text, and more.
It ensures predictable usage, avoids surprise costs, and is perfect for client sites, team projects, and heavy AI usage.
Where to Find Token Usage Settings #
- Open your WordPress Dashboard
- Go to Spexo Addons → Settings → AI Settings → Usage & Limits
1. Daily Token Limit #
Set a daily token limit to prevent overspending. Once reached, all AI features pause until reset.
Benefits of Setting a Daily Limit #

- Enable Daily Token Limit
- Enter your desired token count (e.g.,
20,000 tokens/day) - Click Save Settings
💡 Tip: Start with 10,000 tokens/day if you’re unsure, then adjust as needed.
2. Daily Usage Display #
Track your token usage with visual indicators:
- Total Tokens Used Today
- Progress Bar shows usage vs. limit
- Numeric Value shows exact tokens used
All values reset automatically every 24 hours (based on your site’s timezone).
3. How Token Usage Works #
Every AI action consumes tokens. Here’s what usually uses tokens:
- Text generation in Elementor
- Content rewriting
- Page translations
- Manual and automatic alt-text
- AI image generation metadata requests
